Unyte Focus iLs

Integrating body, brain, and sensory systems through movement and sound

The Focus System (iLs) is a multi-sensory program that combines movement, sound, and cognitive activities to support communication between the brain and body. It promotes integration across physical, emotional, and cognitive systems — helping clients experience greater regulation, balance, and focus.

Grounded in neuroscience and clinical research on neuroplasticity, the Focus System supports the brain’s ability to create and strengthen new pathways through experience.

How it works

The Focus System delivers music through both air and bone conduction while engaging the body in gentle, rhythmic movement. This dual sensory input activates multiple regions of the brain simultaneously, enhancing timing, coordination, and sensory processing.

Sessions may include balance, movement, or attention activities designed to integrate auditory, visual, and motor systems. Over time, this multi-sensory stimulation helps the nervous system become more organized, flexible, and connected — supporting both emotional regulation and cognitive functioning.

Programs on the Focus System

The Focus System includes several structured programs that can be adapted to your goals and readiness. Each one combines sound and movement to target specific areas of growth and regulation.

• Calming Program – approximately 10 hours
Helps promote relaxation and parasympathetic balance. Often beneficial for anxiety, stress, or over-arousal.

• Sensory & Motor Program – approximately 60 hours
Focuses on coordination, proprioception, and sensory integration. Helpful for clients who feel disconnected from their bodies or experience sensory sensitivities.

• Concentration & Attention Program – approximately 40 hours
Enhances sustained focus, timing, and executive functioning. Supportive for clients managing attention challenges or mental fatigue.

• Reading & Auditory Processing Program – approximately 40 hours
Improves listening, phonological awareness, and processing of language and sound. Beneficial for clients wanting to strengthen comprehension and auditory learning.

• Optimal Performance I & II – approximately 24 hours each
Build efficiency in timing, rhythm, and coordination. Often used for ongoing brain-body integration and cognitive-motor performance.

Each program can be customized in length, pace, and intensity to support your system’s capacity and therapeutic goals.

Clinical application

The Focus System is used when clinically indicated to support sensory integration, attention, emotional regulation, or overall brain-body communication. It can be particularly helpful for clients who experience difficulties with focus, coordination, or regulation related to trauma, stress, or sensory processing differences.

This work may be integrated within psychotherapy sessions or offered as a standalone program for ongoing self-regulation and development. Each plan is individualized based on readiness, goals, and response.

What clients may notice

Because the Focus System supports multiple domains of functioning, the changes it creates are often broad and gradual. Clients may notice:
• Improved focus and sustained attention
• Greater balance and coordination
• Reduced sensory sensitivity or reactivity
• Increased emotional steadiness and calm
• Enhanced connection between body awareness and mental clarity

Clients often describe feeling more organized, grounded, and present — as if the body and mind are communicating more smoothly.

Delivery and support

Focus System sessions can be completed in-office or at home with my clinical guidance. Listening and movement activities are paced to your comfort and capacity.

We begin slowly, ensuring that your nervous system stays regulated throughout the process. You’ll receive ongoing support, check-ins, and adjustments as your system adapts to the program.

The Focus System may be integrated within psychotherapy sessions (billed under standard session codes) or offered as a private-pay program for clients who wish to engage in listening therapy independently.

Integration and growth

By combining sound, movement, and focused attention, the Focus System supports deeper integration between body and mind. It strengthens pathways for learning, emotional balance, and embodied presence — helping you move through life with greater connection, coordination, and confidence.
